Here’s how to request your vote-by-mail absentee ballot. All it takes is THREE simple steps:
1. Make sure you are registered to vote. You can check your registration status or update your information on the North Carolina State Board of Elections website.
2. Complete your vote by mail ballot request form. Visit the North Carolina State Board of Elections website and click “Absentee Ballot Request Form.”
3. Submit your completed form to your local County Board of Elections. There are four ways to submit your form — (1) take a clear photo and email it; (2) mail it, (3) fax it, or (4) drop it off to your local County Board of Elections.
That’s all it takes. This is the most important election of our lifetime, and every vote matters. Vote by mail ballots will be sent out in September.
